Space and Art
Space is an important initiative at St Mary's Church, which provides support and care in difficult times
Constantina has been working with Space - creating a series of art based workshops, the foundation of which is joy, humility and love based on Franciscan Principles.There has certainly been much joy and humour, much love and Constantina, though striving to be humble, fails every day. The clients of the Space Art group have been of much assistance in this respect and Constantina hopes to improve.
Serenity Icons is set to support this work by making some of the art produced by the Space group working with Constantina available as an exclusive set of cards, posters and other products.
Come back soon and see how this is developing - the products will be posted on our store in the near future and proceeds from sales will go to support the work of Space and the work that Constantina is doing with Space.

The Patchwork Madonna
This image of the Madonna was created from small sections like a jigsaw, the Space artists, did not know what the final image would be.
The Patchwork Madonna is a symbol of
our fragmented lives - the little broken
pieces that we are - but when all assembled into the whole, the beauty of it is sublime, moving and wonderful.
The image was created with mixed media - acrylic and pastels.
