St Osyth

St Osyth has a strong connection to Aylesbury and to St Mary's Church. St Mary's (@FrShane), with Constantina (@Constantina777) and Simon (@Schrimon) have conceived a project to try and reconnect the whole community in Aylesbury with St Osyth. The project will have a number of elements based around a new commissioned Triptych depicting the life of the saint, a historical trail taking in some of the key locations and engagement with local schools. It is still in the early stages of conception and we are looking for support with developing the ideas, a business plan and delivering the project. However, in the mean time, below is a map showing some significant locations in the Aylesbury area for the life of St Osyth. Constantina has been telling the story of the saint to local school children during visits to the Church and we hope to publish some of their narrative writing and pictures arising from that in the near future - so watch this space and the SerenityIcons blog for more as the project starts to take shape.
